No other dairy, as of today, is allowed to produce Pecorino Crotonese DOP apart from the ones listed here. They are officially authorized and certified.

Always make sure the packaging displays the Consortium for the Protection logo and the wording “Pecorino Crotonese DOP” to avoid any confusion.
Some dairies also produce conventional pecorino alongside the DOP version.

The Maiorano Farm was established in a land rich in pastures, stretching from the Crotonese Marchesato to the Ionian Sea. Since the late 1800s, it has been raising sheep and primarily producing Pecorino Crotonese with the PDO label, in addition to being a producer of olive oil.

The Fratelli Fonsi Farm, located among the green hills of Paludi just a short distance from the sea, boasts a long-standing tradition.
